Collage, a method of creating an image by layering cut or torn images and mixed media, has a rich history in fine arts, social and political movements, and art & healing alike. It creates opportunities for a different way of seeing, of subverting and expanding narratives, and a fast, easy and efficient way to tap into one's subconsious and one's inner widsom.

In this group, we'll explore a little of all of the above. During sessions, you can expect;

-Instruction and guidance on a variety of techniques in the use of collage and mixed media

-Introduction to different uses of collage, such as for fine art pieces, personal inquiry and reflection, applied arts, process art, and more

-Supportive guided discussion and feedback on our experiences, insights and work

-Invitation to participate in the Collage Explorations online group to continue discussions and sharing work between sessions.

Group will be faciliated by an experienced creative arts therapy professional, who will be on hand to answer questions and provide individualized support.
