COST: Free for those bringing items to swap, otherwise $5 per person to fill up a shopping bag.

Get ready for a weekend extravaganza of art and craft materials! The SASS Annual Swap Meet is a chance to donate your unused or gently-used art and craft tools, materials and supplies, and have a chance to pick up something new-to-you that you might love. 

The following kinds of items are welcome to be in the Swap:

-drawing, crafting & specialty papers

-art canvas

-drawing and painting tools/materials

-ceramics, pot shards, tiles, grout, tools and supplies 

-stained glass pieces, foil, lead channels, tools and supplies 

-wood for woodworking, tools, supplies 

-sculptural/assemblage items

-assorted fibers and fabrics

-jewelry making equipment, beads, wire, metals, charms, instruction books 

-craft and fabric patterns and kits

-sewing or quilting patterns and instruction books

-digital photography or digital arts gear

-Analog or digital musical instruments, accessories, songbooks or instructional materials

-Writing materials, how-to or inspirational books on the craft of writing

-printmaking, card making, vinyl, or Cricut/Sisser gear

-Rubber stamps, scrapbooking supplies, stickers, washi tape

-quirky items that aren't specifically "art supplies" but could be used for something creative 

-Storage bins, containers, shelving, expandable file folders, etc.

-project bags or caddies 

-art studio furniture 

-art and craft "how to" and inspirational books

-unfinished kits, projects, paintings, etc.

-finished art you no longer want to hang on to 

-art or craft related overstock/closed out inventory

-knicknacks, doodads and all manner of crafty stuff!

Items that are NOT welcome in the Swap include:

-broken or damaged tools, containers, etc.

-dirty items

-anything not in re-useable condition 

-non-Swap themed items (i.e. housewares and other things that could go to the thrift store)

Swap will not open until 9:00am - no pre-swapping! 

Any leftover items will be distributed among local charities, or properly disposed of. 

Feel free to bring a friend or two! this event is in honor of Earth Day, by helping to repurpose, recycle and re-use materials that others might benefit from, rather than seeing them go in the trash (and add to the landfill). The more people we get and the more items swapped, the better this mission will work.
