"Process  painting", sometimes known as Intuitive Painting, is a style of expressive art that focuses on the experience of using color, form, composition, and the properties of  paint and mixed media to build layers on a surface. Art pieces are built using a connection to one's sensory experience, as well as one's natural senses of balance, flow, dynamic composition, and personal expression. Instructor will take the group through some brief exercises, and will be on hand to help guide you through your unique process, and provide technical support. 

Focusing on process,  rather than the finished piece, frees us up to play, explore and  experiment, without being afraid of "getting it wrong" or comparing  ourselves to others. Many folks…
