About the event
LEARNING LAB: CALLIGRAPHY
Learn and practice the basics of using a traditional calligraphy ink or brush pen to create beautiful handwriting, brush script, illustrations and more. Explore transferring or copying your designs onto paper for framing, greeting cards, signs and documents.
About the Instructor: Sharon "Sunny" Hatter is a graphic and fine artist, illustrator and crafter with a passion for sharing her expertise with her favorite media. She has been involved with the Florence fine arts community and sharing her skills for many years, and has been teaching with SASS since 2024.
Learning Labs are an approachable and fun way to learn something new, get technical help and support on your ongoing projects, build skills, and enjoy creating with others. All basic tools and materials are provided; you are also welcome to bring your own.
