An annual Florence tradition! Walk with us as we “carry the light” through the longest night of the year, celebrating the return of the Sun.

We meet outside Bridgeport Market East entrance at 4:45, kicking off at 5:00pm. Expect to take around 20-40 minutes at a leisurely pace. Wheelchair accessible. Event will be held rain or shine, so make sure to dress for the weather.

This is an all ages event, and everyone is welcome to join. Lanterns, light up toys, costumery, music, song and dance and general merriment are encouraged!

We'll meander along the Boardwalk and through Old Town, and experience the annual light displays, with magical discoveries and photo opportunities along the way. We will return to the Studio afterwards for warming up, cocoa, cider and socializing.
